What is Short Sightedness?
Our last post looked at long sightedness (hyperopia), this time we will talk about what could be considered the opposite condition, short sightedness (myopia). It causes objects at a distance to appear blurry and out of focus. This is caused by the image focussing in front of the retina rather than directly on it as it should. The distance at which people have trouble focussing can vary depending on the severity of the condition.

Are You Eligible for a Free Eye Test?
Depending on your age or circumstances you might be entitled to a free eye test funded by the NHS. If you are eligible, all you need to do is inform your Coventry opticians of choice and fill in a simple form. You can get an NHS eye test once every two years if you remain eligible.

There are of course positives to choosing a large national optician but there are plenty or possibly more great reasons to choose a local Coventry opticians instead.
